Middle Eastern Refugee Welfare Cost

Given that President Obama plans to allow 10,000 Syrian refugees into the United States – a percentage of which may have intentions to commit acts of terrorism, probably won’t be adequately vetted, and are immediately eligible for public benefits – consider these fiscal year 2013 statistics related to Middle Eastern refugees:

  • 91.4% received food stamps
  • 73.1% on Medicaid
  • 68.3% on cash welfare
